Whether you are volunteering or bringing your kids to participate - kickstart National Chemistry Week the Central Arkansas local section of the American Chemical Society!
The event will be held at Forest Heights STEM Academy in Little Rock. Elementary to middle school aged children are welcome to attend the free event.
We would LOVE to volunteers from responsible high school, college, and graduate students as well as faculty or other local chemists. Volunteers are needed from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM - you can find the link to volunteer in the event description on our webpage.
We will host several stations of hands-on chemistry activities related to the NCW theme "Marvelous Metals". Please wear appropriate lab attire and bring your goggles!
